Please read the following points before beginning to complete your application and ensure your group satisfies the following conditions:
- You are a not-for-profit, third sector community group / small charity / local residents' association, run by local volunteers, or a small social enterprise or credit union
- Your organisation and project will be operating in Barking & Dagenham, Haringey, Havering, Redbridge or Waltham Forest
- You have a governing document that includes as a minimum the organisation name, aim/purpose, objectives, membership criteria, decision-making processes and a dissolution clause
- You will apply for a project run by people directly affected by the issues the project will be addressing
- Your project can evidence a sustained beneficial impact on people's lives who are excluded or disadvantaged
- Your project will empower local people to create lasting change in their communities
- You will be applying either for a sports project that increases access to sport and exercise for people who face social exclusion and isolation and/or helps people who are experiencing difficulties in their lives, or for a community project that (a) increases local services, (b) builds skills of local people, (c) increases community cohesion, and/or (d) responds to local economic needs
